The Asthma and Allergy Center of Chicago, SC is an independent patient care and clinical research facility under the direction of Edward E. Lisberg, MD. The Center has a strong and abiding commitment to ensure that all of its affairs, research and non-research related, are conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Center considers ethical conduct and accountability for actions as core values to achieve its mission of research and service. The Center conducts allergy and respiratory disease clinical research through grants funded from pharmaceutical companies. The Center conducts only phase II and III clinical trials; it does not participate in phase IV or marketing studies. Other than research-related grants, the Center and its employees do not accept any monies, honorarium, meals, marketing materials, office supplies nor any other monetary equivalents from the pharmaceutical industry. The Center and its employees hold no equities in any pharmaceutical companies with whom the Center conducts research. The Center and its employees do not participate in authorship of any publications in which any entity having any financial interest has pre-publication review or editorial control. The Center's employees do not participate in any pharmaceutical company advisory or consulting boards. |
